For those that can remember, sometime back I told you of my wifes niece and asked you folks to visit her site and offer her encouragement against her fight with cancer. Thanks for all your comments you sent her. I know she found great joy in reading them.

I am sorry to say that at 12.00 approx she lost her fight, at the age of 27, leaving 2 small kids and her husband. They took the discussion to remove her from life support at there was nothing else the Doc's could do.

At least she no longer suffers and got to spend her last christmas at home with her family.

Not a great way to start any year, Mrs Goose also lost her uncle during Christmas to.

Lets hope it gets better.

The dreaded C desease takes folks of all ages and race

Sorry to hear of your loss my condolances to your family .
Sorry for your loss Goose. I also lost a friend, I didn't know him well, but his brother did a beautiful eulogy whch really summed up the man I knew and the man I thought he was. He faught with strength and went down with dignity. 47 years old, a man in his prime. He started with cancer of the stomach and ended up with cancer of the everthing. He was a man I wish I had known longer and wish many more people could have met him, he touched the lives of a lot of people and could have done so to even more.

But no condolences, please. I just ask, for Tom, that you never forget those who have passed on before us. As long as you remember them, talk about them, mention their name, they will always be with us.

Regards
Nigel
