It's very hard to get employment visas for the US. You need qualifications and experience or exceptional proven talent. So stay at school, get your qualifications, if you want get a visa based on your acting experience you need to make a name for yourself in the UK first.

About Employment visas for the US

I bumped into a young UK actor who was studying acting in New York and paying his way through bar-work .

I'm not sure if he had a visa or not - but there is good money to be made working in NY bars and restaurants . It can be pretty good if you get into the right place.
Another actor friend of mine works 3 nights a week in bar and this covers his rent and living expenses each week and leaves lots of time for auditions.

However, you might need to 21 to work in these places .

There are scholarships and educational grants to investigate . There are also numerous exchange programs and suff to get involved while your waiting.
