Funny, someone said on TV the other day, if SGE is silently hoping players like Gerrard will pick up a slight injury to give them a rest in the middle of the season.

Owen and Newcastle haven't been firing on all cylinders for a while now :shock:
They were terrible at Liverpool and not a lot better at Tottenham
No wonder the toon army's been chanting 'we want Souness out!!' :roll:

I saw the Boro and Newcastle game on the telly the other day. Newcastle didn't look the same without Owen and that new bloke Luque? He missed a sitter.
