OK - you knew someone had to bring this up.....I apologise in advance if there's an old thread out there about this......

What television channel do I tune to here in the U.S. to watch the Queen's Speech on Christmas Day???

I've heard that the WoS (waste of space) BBC America occasionally shows it, but apparently this year it's not on their schedule. Wot??? LMAO.

Anybody have any good ways of watching Queenie on Christmas Day??? I'm assuming it's not broadcast live on the internet anywhere, is it???

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!

I watch it online at 3pm local time in keeping with past traditions. However I really really miss seeing the 'big film' feature on tv straight afterwards. Perhaps I should get myself a dvd instead. I want to see the Christmas specials too. America sadly lacks in this area.

From the TV schedules I'm starting to wonder if it's really Christmas at all or is this some government con to get us all spending needlessly!

I watch it on the web. And I've no clue what she says as normally I'm way too pissed at that time. However, tradition dictates I ought to.

I sort of look at her grey hair and choice of gown and mutter, if I had the money you had............but then realize she isn't some American 70 wanna be 30 type. Which is dead upper class of her.
