was listening to a radio show online this evening, and they were talking about Santas in Australia. Apparently it's now forbidden for santas to allow kids to sit on their lap.

Also santas are not allowed to touch kids on the head because of religious beliefs. They said no one wants to play the part of santa now, for the fear of being sued by a parent who's kid might have said santa touched them.

Santas are not urged to keep their hands where everyone could see it, and some are not even allowed to say ho ho ho. We know over the years, there have been some bad santas, with some having breaths that smell of booze.

The question is, what do you think about all this, what is your stance on the issue?
It's rather amusing... for 11 months out of the year we teach children that some fat beardy that smells of booze who says "sit on my lap, I know where you live and would you like to reach down and grab my sack" is a deviant and then turn around and say "this one's okay... tell him where you live" - no wonder kids are confused.

As always pc gets in the way of common sence

Pretty soon we wont be able to talk to .touch or look at anyone without somebody being offended .

Anybody with short hair looks like a skin head and that offends me so short hair should be banned .

I hate black it distresses me so any person of colour should not be allowed to come anywhere near me .

Saying good morning is wrong and should be banned as i may be upset that day and not having a good morning

bad spelling can be annoying to some so JOHNA should be banned form the chat room

lol lol lol lol lol lol
I have been here in the UK for 5 years, and as far as I am aware, they don't let the kids sit on Santa's lap, either.

Besides, if I want a photo of my kids with a bearded guy, I would rather it be a REAL beard, and with a motorcycle.
