John Wayne would be dissapointed.

Kissing cowboy's.
Sounds like Eric Cartman's typical indie movie.

"Gay Cowboys Eating Pudding" regards...
What's controversial about Brokeback Mountain? I would have thought homosexuality in movies wasn't particularly controversial these days.

On the other hand, the Oscar committee seem to have scrubbed the gay out of the movie judging by their posters of it. Like this-:

Apparently here in SF, they had BrokeBack Mountain showing on 3 screens, this sort of allocaton is usually reserved for blockbuster movies such as Star Wars Episode III....okay, bad example.

There's a hysterical thread running on http://www.fark.com right now about the Bareback Mountin' movie right now.

Be warned, it could be considered NSFW.

/but still hysterically funny
//best phrase on there has been "bung pudding"
You should read the conservative blogs - especially nobbers like Tammy Bruce - they cite Brokeback's award nominations as indicative of why both Hollywood is dysfunctional and why America hsa gone to the dogs. Bruce even says the movie "insults us" because they're not cowboys, they're sheepherders. Ok then. In her words - "So you can take your gay sheepherder, noble communist supporting reporters, big-business is evil, Americans are hopelessly and inherently corrupt and violent and unfaithful movies and go to Cannes where at least the Parisian set will love you."

Calm down love.
