It is -9F or -22 on my outside thermometer.  I don't care if it's a dry cold, it's fricking cold.  

I always forget the strange things that happen when it's as cold as this, like don't leave a 12 pack of cokes you bought for $2.50 in the garage for safe keeping as they explode.  Have sticky icy cokey substance spattered on my bike now.

I have ice on the inside of my basement windows (single pane)

Snow is icky sticky slippery wet stuff and I don't like it.

So, how cold is it in your neck of the woods? Damned if I could live in Canada how ever polite and liberal they appear to be.

Well it's not that cold in NJ, but it was damned cold today! wind was going straight through me.

Not that cold here, but cold enough we actually turned the heat on tonight. I just turned it back off though can't sleep with it on.

It's this darn rain I can't stand, it's been wet here on and off for days. Think I'd like a little snow instead. 8)

Right now, it's 54 degrees outside, and will be about 60-64 degrees tomorrow during the day.

Friday I'm off to Daytona Beach, FL, as I'm shooting the Dunlop Tire Test at the Speedway (anybody close by wanna meet me for dinner?) but I know it'll be a tad warmer than it is here.

Snow, ice and all that other cold stuff you can keep. If I want to see it or play in it I can drive to it..

Damm cold for Texas had to put all my potted plants in the garage .we are expeting a frost overnight

Wearing a sweater and Long sweat pants in the house .


will only last for a few days though and then go back to the nice fall/winter texas weather with doors and windows open .a breaze running though the home . no a/c or heat required

Post us a picture of sunnier climes then sweetie.  Like you normally do.  To make us "feel better"?  :wink:  :wink: And this being Colorado, we can be wearing shorts in December but you never know.

Oh, and John, I know you probably have wonderful spring/fall weather. But I bet your summers suck.

Inside temp a constant 75F with 30% humidity in every room. I wear same clothing inside all year round.

Underground parking 50F

Outside 7F and sunny.

If I drive to the shopping mall I wear short leather jacket.

If I walk to shopping mall I wear insulated parka, good wool toque and insulated gloves. I use locker to store outside clothes if I'm staying for longer than half hour.

We have about 1 inch of snow on the ground but nothing on the streets.

It's damn cold, and apparently I'm expecting six inches this afternoon too shock I'm never going to get my "seasonal" lights up cry and I have new moving reindeer this year.... *sob*

It was 11 degrees when I left for work. And I make the same bloody mistake everyday. The back left window of my car doesn't shut properly, so when after I've scraped the ice of the windows and get in and drive the windscreen mists up. It get's really really bad just as I get over the south Grand Island bridge because that's where the sun is. At which point I have to pull over or die.  :???:

I'm worried that I'll never get my stag working in these temps.....the head is supposed to go up and down......

Oh and I wear shorts all year round too!

It's frickin freezing Mr Bigglesworth. I believe it is 25 but weather channel says it feels like 19. It snowed about 5 inches on Monday but hasn't since altho we are expecting more tonight.Still wandering around the house in shorts tho...

It's a bit nippy off the Island here too!! wink
