I just downloaded the latest version of the I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions to start working on it for our filing - and noticed that they now ask you for two passport-style photographs along with the Petition!!!

Not as far as I can tell. I had an older version of the I-751 form printed out from earlier this year - and nowhere did it say anything about supplying photos with it. Hence my surprise when I ran off a new copy of it today to start on it - and saw the photo requirement.
Also interesting that they now ask for full frontal pics - as opposed to the usual 3/4 side-view style that were always such a hassle to get done correctly.

But isn't that the photo they use for your new green card? I could have sworn that I sent some for the same app 5 years ago. The 3/4 photos were required for my citizenship app.

My PR card has a three-quarter pic on it - that pic was taken by the INS folks themselves, not an outside agency.
The photos regulations changed about a year ago.
The new photos have been regulation for at least 18 months. That's the size I had to provide for my visa in 2004.
