I've seen mention several times on the boards some mention of people having their passports stamped when they were approved for their green cards... or something to that effect.

I do have my green card, but my passport was never stamped. Could this be a problem for me if I want to travel, or am I safe because i do have the green card?
You are fine because you have a greencard )

The stamp is put in the passport for those who wish to travel (or get their approval done in the UK and then need to enter the US) and are awaiting the arrivel of their actual greencard.
Thanks, Ben. This was under the label of one of those things I "thought" I was Ok on, but just needed reassurance. smile
when I come back into the US and show my greencard I have never even had to produce my passport.
