Anyone?
Not seen as many as usual yet this year but maybe because we had quite a stormy weekend in my part of Texas but they are still quite a few people who have gone over the top already..... roll
None in our house yet, not in the Christmas mode at all wink
Yes - just put up the tree and started decorating last night.
I'm not putting any up outside though and some of my neighbours have had theirs up for over a week now.
No nothing here yet. Starting to see quite a few houses around decorated.
My son wants to go over the top decorating the outside this year, but I doubt it will happen as he isn't too motivated to do the work involved.
We will probably get the tree and put up indoor stuff this weekend.
I happened to buy a tasteful little metal tree-shaped light decoration in our new Ikea so that is in the window - and if our building project doesn't get any closer to completion that is likely to be all we will have this year!
Our neighbours have already ahd their lights snowed on
By the way I hate those lights that come on nets for draping over bushes - they remind me of tablecloths.
All the usual suspects in my neighborhood have them up already.
I dunno what we're gonna do this year - our new dog really likes trees (if you know what I mean) so putting one in the living room seems like asking for it.
And wasn't last Sunday Advent Sunday? Besides - I saw Santa arrive ta Macy's so it must be christmas now.
Ours are up outside as of the weekend just past.......Twas warm so we thought we had best get them up to save out fingers dropping off if we have to do it in freezing temps.....bin there and dun that.
Dont put them up in the house as I am still a die-hard 13 days before and 13 days after person.....inside at least.
Mandy
I've got the outside lights on. Put them up at the weekend and about three hours later that huge winter storm blew through. Though it didn't snow here it was very windy so didn't light them.
The Christmas tree will wait for a week or so just because I know the cats will bugger about with it.
No, not here . . . not in the spirit yet.
Scrooge regards
Only a few decorations up here - ain't bothering with a tree this year as we got rid of our's last year and have decided to wait until the after christmas clearance to get a new prelit fake one.
Well, we're not putting anything up at all this year (I don't think we did last year actually) as we have one problem....
This one, is something else....
Andrew :)
Not up yet, will do it all this w/e, the cat will be a total nightmare but what the heck.
We don't decorate the outside of the house as frankly we cannot be arsed. mrgreen
I have the decorations up, but toned back this year. The charlie brown christmas tree is up, but no decorations on it yet. Simon is anxiously waiting for them! This is Simon looking very guilty after getting a squirt from the water bottle.

Oh widget's not a problem, make it a animal friendly tree. Secure it, and instead of glass ornaments, you could hang kitty treats... mrgreen (just a suggestion)
I got a couple of items out and started decorating the den last weekend, then lost the enthusiasm. Hubby actually asked tonight if we were putting up a tree this year. We go to our daughters for Christmas day, so it's hard to get in the mood, am lazy and just have to take it down again.
But, will force myself this week. Have a seven foot tree. Always concerned about our dobie taking a liking to it, as I have all glass european ornaments. But have a life saver that we use.
We have a large oriental hibachi type wooden table, and the center bowl removes, so I stand the seven foot tree in there taping it securely underneath, and the bottom branches just come above the table, so we can lay packages around the table, and so far Mr. Zeus has not toppled it. But there's always this year... wink
I don't... but some of the neighbours have gone all trailer fabulous with the decor neutral
Had some spare time tonight and put them up *what there is off them *
one garland on front door ,small tree in hall on table, with lights , and various home made table covering , seasonal table mats and thats it 1 box full .
