A report out of London says that G W Bush wanted to bomb the Al Jazeera head office but the papers have been "D noticed" that they can go to prison if they print about it. So the only place I can find it is on Al Jazeera

A question has been tabled in parliament requesting that the transcript be published. WH says "Outlandish". Al Jazeera in bagdad was bombed "By accident" if you remember. They nearly got the BBC too.
This was the cover story on the Daily Mirror a couple of days back.
That was the point, by forbidding them to publish further, Lord Goldsmith effectively confirms the substance of the mirror story. At the same time the white house says the story is "outlandish".
I didn't say anything about the mirror story because it was in the Al Jazeera story.
I don't think it's that outlandish considering other Al Jazeera offices have had the cack blown out of them already.
yeah, but that office was a branch in Kabul. I think Bush wanted to go after the main office in Qatar. I can't see Qatar being too impressed with the idea neither.

I hope things will be different after Bush - but he really is a low-life. He'll surround himself with lackeys and who'll tell him what a great president he was. Even though he's down in the polls I still think there are too few Americans with a grip on reality. Plenty of them would like AL Jazeera bombed - and the rest of them are out shopping at Walmart...
