I don't make a cake. A friend likes to make me one, she makes several to give to friends. I bought a pud. I'm the only one who eats it and its a fair amount of work. it's years since I could eat it after the dinner anyway. I usuially have some with the leftovers.
I baked some little mince pies and lemon curds to take to my daughters tomorrow. I was surprised to see that the pastry looks ok.
