Last night...
The (really nice and warm) weather here right now turns sunsets into these bright orange fiery evenings...
Andrew :)
nice. Did you use a filter or does it really look like that?

Thank you...
Nothing done aside from converting from RAW (unprocessed straight off the sensor image), colour balanced and saved for web.
It really looks like that when we have these hot late fall days down here (it's caused by the dust particles being blown by offshore winds - similar to those down south called the Santa Ana's) and so what happens is the dust particles in the air magnify the effects of the lights as the sun disappears.
It's especially effective when there's some clouds in the air and the bottoms of the clouds catch the sunlight as well.
Andrew :)
What's the temperature there? Getting cold and foggy here.
Lovely picture btw.

Andrew, your pictures never cease to amaze. Thanks yet again. grin
I didn't realise that fishing lines and superglue were legally acceptable to use on humming birds in Cali.
...and you left the wire on the bird's beak too.
It's actually a sparrow wearing a mini batman cape with it's beak stuck in a drinking straw.
(the bird's friend is just out of shot to the right, pulling on the wire to try and remove the straw)
Hey you two are slacking (were's adeshell as well...) on the wires and super-glue conspiracy theories....!!
grin

I'm not slacking on typo patrol, though.... :P
