I had a colleague in the UK who did this, kept various livestock including pigs which they would name and have as pets, until they big enough then, off in the butchers van, return with freezer full of ham.

She figured at least they had a nice life, were loved and cared for, and in the end were jolly tasty too.

Well, there is a mummy piggy and a daddy piggy who love eachother very much. :roll: They lay very, very close to eachother and .........
