Just wondering when anyone can think of anytime when any war was good?
What would you class as a good war and what would you class as a bad war??
It seems that depending on the time a place, would effect an answer.
Example would be the crusades. If you were there at the time you would probably think, yep great idea lets go. Looking from it in this time, it did not appear such a real cool idea.
Me mam always said world war 2 was a good war for women, until it ended and the men came home.
I guess you get out what you put in in some cases.
It made it possible for women to wear trousers tho.
Sorry for being flippant. I just think you should talk the hind leg off a donkey before you go to war and also the the old guys who want to run it should be up front. If your leaders don't lead, don't follow. smile
WW1 and WW2 certainly was a turning points for woman and technology, but can we say it was worth the cost in humans etc
No war is a good war although some are necessary as man is not perfect and will not always be able to agree.
World War 2 is about the only neccessary war I can think of.
again Scramble we say WW2 was just, but the people that went to the crusades thought the same thing to
