Surely the population of America can survive 2 days with all the stores closing?
I've wondered about that myself, Cel.
But people can't seem to stay away from shops, shopping, anywhere money is spent. I worked in the retail business many years ago. People would try to walk in a store at closing time, or worse still, will carry on browsing the aisles after the 'store is closing' announcement.
It is a very frightening shopping frenzy out there. People get nasty, push and shove, and grab, grab, grab, me, me, me, etc.
Scariest place though, is Coscto. Christmastime especially of course, but any given weekend it is a madhouse. I stay well away, too scared to fight the crowds.
But before you can shop till you drop...........
you first have to find a PARKING SPACE!!
But that's another story!
Hey, being away from home does not excuse you...... I'm relying on you to go out and get me a $1000 laptop/notebook thingy for $5 or less.....(while I [strike]sleep off the beer [/strike]cook the turkey.....! ;) BTW what size am I going to need?

 Well, get the flyers ready and you may just have a deal - do you want me to ask James what size he needs?
