Found this conspiracy video on Metafilter. It is about an hour long but runs automatically if you aren;t using dial-up. While it left me feeling that the maker of it was a tad wacko it does ask a few decent questions. Any thoughts on the whole thing?

I really doubt the conspiracy angle. Alot. I do know someone who is adamant that there were explosions at the WTC close to the ground.
One theory that I'll always refute is that the buildings shouldn't have fallen. My wife tells me the story that when a bunch of her engineering professor friends turned on the tv and saw the planes hit they all knew the buildings were going to fall. I forget the specifics but they didn't have a single doubt when we talked about it.

Certainly, the Twin Towers seem to have come down on their own but one of the (allegedly slightly) damaged neighbouring building came down in suspicious circumstances later and appeared to have been demolished. It could be argued that it was done for safety reasons which would be fine except that it is denied at all levels.
That'd be Tower 7. In the initial FEMA report it was said to have endured very light damage. Then collapsed.
I don;t go for these conspriacies at all. But it doesn't make sense for some of the denials such as the one above. A weirder one is the sighting of small white plane that flew over the crash site of the flight that was brough down by the passengers. Alot of people reported seeing it very soon (seconds some say) after the plane crashed yet for some reason this was denied vehemently for months. Then one day it was accepted as always having been there but coincidental. If it hadn't been denied no-one would have reason to be suspicious.
I probably won't have time to watch this - out of curiosity does it say who is 'really' behind 9/11 and why did Al Quaeda/Osama Bin Laden claim responsibilty ? ?
I'll give you one guess as to which country and which family they say is responsible.

Yes absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt. The biggest show of evidence is found at the pentagon IMO. Which I will elaborate on first. For one- two planes had already hit the WTC and one is headed straight for DC how did any plane fly into secure air space on a day when two planes had delibertly flew into WTC? If you recall when Payne Stewarts(golfer) plane flew off course NORAD had two F 16's wingside in like 11 minutes, how does a plane fly into one of the most secure pieces of air space in the world? Two- Planes were scrambbled from Langley and not from Edwards AFB which is right in DC, Langley is a 3 hour drive (don't know flight time). That is a small factor the smallest in all my points.
3. NO PLANE HAS EVER BEEN FOUND AT SIGHT EVER. Look at any magazine for yourself just to discredit all the "fake photography" people,any picture and you will not see a wing, seat, tail piece, fuelsage, wheel NOTHING."Oh thats garbage that plane blew up in the explosion it was engulfed in flames", OK well planes are constructed out of alot of Titanium, which melts at around 1660* F jet fuel only gets to 1000*F in a perfect mixture of air/fuel.Do the reasearch yourself. This is one sight to look at photos from that day, there have been about 5 good movies made about 9-11 that shows even greater detail.

4. The Pentagon as well as DC is surrounded by video cameras. Only three clips were ever released to the public and all you see is the nose of something and then BOOM, what are they trying to hide and why do they think I'm too stupid to consider there were propaly at least 10-15 cameras that saw what happened all confiscated by FBI never to be released. The Pentagon is right beside 495 and the cameras there, in the gas station across the street and pentagon cameras themselves not one "film" of a boeing hitting the pentagon,BECAUSE NO PLANE HIT THE PENTAGON. THATS WHY YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT. Not one eyewitness says it was a boeing they all say a commuter plane and it sounded like a missle,which brings us to point 5.
5. Whatever hit the pentagon left a 12X12 hole in the wall BEFORE it collapsed and went thru alot of steel and concrete before stopping in the inner rings of the pentagon. I don't recall how many rings off the top of head but do believe it is 9 feet of steel reinforced concrete (each wall being 1ft thick going thru 4.5 rings).
This is only the pentagon. I believe the extreme higher ups in the media had alot of covering up to do. One of the excellent movies I got off e bay and you can look it up is ,"In Plane Sight", the director shows only footage from that day. There were so many people, everyday eyewitnesses on that day that totally say a different story than the original BS we've been fed by FOX and CNN. Hitler wouldn't of gotten anything done without Goerbbels his propaganda minister who used the media to manipuate the people. 9-11 was a very well orchestrated "made for TV movie" that had the harsh reality of 3000 people that died and the 40,000-50,000 that have died around the world since. I'm not pointing fingers I have my beliefs who was behind it (follow the money it always takes you to the culprit) but more so have devoted time and energy to get this out simply because we owe it to the victims families to find those responsible.
On e bay you can order any of these great movies for $5.00-7.00. In Plane Sight, Lose Change, 9-11 the road to tyranny, and the best as far as factual evidence 9-11 end game of the illumanati. If you have never been exposed to this fact not theory I recommend the first two. They are all good. I have not seen the movie attached to this thread.
Oh yeah there is no way possible some middle easterners learned to fly in crop dusters or commuter planes, and fly a boeing just feet above the ground at least 250 MPH steadily holding it to crash it into the pentagon much less do the moves it did before it approached the pentagon. Ask any pilot he'll agree. The closest comparision would be for someone to go from driving a mini cooper to a 18 wheeler and driving it like a Ace. Thats driving- flying would be alot more difficult.
Certainly the Pentagon crash and the flight that came down in Pennsylvania have dozens of question marks.
I think that with most conspiracies in the United States, you have to also consider that intelligence and political agencies are not adverse to allowing events to take place if they suit their needs.
I am not suggesting that the FBI, CIA, NSA or White House instigate catastrophic events in the United States but they play the game so that they are able to quickly take advantage of them and/or cover up the parts of the story that do not tie in to their needs.
Does this make them a guilty party, despite not actually pulling the trigger or flying the plane? Absolutely, in my opinion.
For all the good things this country claims and actually does do, it is probably the world leader in covering things up.
Controversially, I think that the CIA should be dissolved and it's duties absorbed by (a better managed and run) FBI and the military.
Their history is much tarnished and when they are really needed, they seem to drop the ball.
The military are more accountable and that is something this country seems to be crying out for right now.
Still, look what happened to the last figure who began to dismantle the CIA.....
