Wade Gallegos was doing a security job in Des Moines, Iowa, and appeared to see the apparitions of a number of men stood by a car. He reported the sighting and a co- worker and supervisor went to the site and couldn't see anything.......
His supervisor couldnt see any evidence of alchohol or drugs but still sacked him 5 hours later.
Gallegos applied for unemployment benefits and the company he worked for claimed that he was guilty of misconduct. A judge said that the company could sack him because he believed in ghosts but said it didn't constitute misconduct.
Do you think it's a bit tough to fire an employee because they see a ghost?
I do sympathise with the employee and I do realise that the security firm has a business to run but I dont know if I would personally fire an employee of mine because he thought he saw ghosts......
