Some people do have a problem with keeping their throat clear, especially older people.
Do you think that you do something that may annoy people?
Yes I am well aware that there can be a medical problem, she is young, only in her 30's and her problem is allergy related ( or so she says). Its always more noticeable after a night of partying though!
Yes Keith, I'm sure there are a lot of things I do that annoy people and sometimes I purposely do things to annoy people 'cos I'm a very annoying kind of person
How about yourself, you dont get annoyed by anything or have annoying habits?
A woman I work with has a 4 year old son who I am sure is the devil in disguise. He is rude, naughty and never listens to a thing he is told. I get so peeved when she says "ahhhhh, look at him. He is just tired", or "poor Rye Rye must be feeling sick" (Rye Rye is Ryan btw) or "he is usually such a good boy, I don't know what came over him".
I hate that! Just admit that you have an out of control kid, and do something about it. evil

If I don't it's a wasted day.
The snorting thing is gross but worse than that is the person who does a great sneeze or a great nose-blowing and then opens their hankie to examine the contents!!!! Now THAT really makes me feel ill!

Yeah, many have a problem with continence too -does that mean the rest of us should put up with them peeing on the floor?

Oh yes, mostly related to "setting them straight" on Britnet ;)
Oh God I could stay up all night for this thread.
- People at work who think I wan't pick-me-up messages from their church group so put me on bulk email lists. Git.
- People who forward emails internally that are clearly ridden with viruses. Yes someone always opens them.
- People who take individual pieces of paper to the shredder every 3 minutes.
- Workmates who begin conversations with "can you believe they allow gays/retards/blacks/ into our Middle School?"
- The Admin Assistant whose first function of every day is to have the longest stinkiest poo ever known to man.
- Really badly run meetings that everyone is always invited too.
- People who waltz in 30 minutes late and leave 30 minutes early everyday, and also take extra long lunches only to complain about other people. Add the fact that the boss is too chicken to call her on it.
- That person who drinks the last of the coffee but doesn't make another pot.
- The fact that the Admin Assistant only buys wanky flavored coffee - banana maple is not coffee.
- People at work who don't even have the common courtesy to pretend they aren't just playing Yahoo Pool or Solitaire. Yes everyone can see you.
- The fact that when a certain lady worked here she would spend at least 3/4 of her time making personal calls and chatting all day.
- The fact that because I loathe Krispy Kreme donuts the building attendant loudly asks "are you gay or something." And why are we buying 12 donuts for the 5 of us, especially as I hate them?
Simmer down....

Ditto
People who constantly chew gum with their mouths open.. and blow bubbles! Yuck. I keep hoping it will stick to their faces! lol.

Now you're annoying me Monster. I've already answered this post and got annoyed by it and now you've dragged it up again just so I can be annoyed.

I think his brother works in my office.
1) Cops - simply annoying, especially the undercover ones, when they start rioting during rallies.
2) Mom - well, she used to annoy hell out of me with her "little" pieces of advice... roll
3) Stepdad - a moron I never liked. evil
4) University professors who sell their OPINIONS as facts. evil (I am a realist, not a liberal, so keep your opinionated and unbased attacks on realism and pathetic defense of liberalism to yourself, thankyouverymuch! evil )
5) Annoying students who demand that the class end 20 minutes early every time. Why are they even there?!?! evil mad
6) People who go round and round and round and NEVER EVER get to the goddamn POINT. mad
7) People who try to discourage me from doing something that I really really want to do, without giving me any good reason for not doing it; e.g. "You really shouldn't be involved in politics" or "don't waste your time on non-digital cameras and photography, it's all digital now" roll evil
8 ) The fact that people here in Lebanon have NO understanding of what LINE-UPS are for.
9) People who talk about the lame concept of "friendship".
10) People who whine about people who use smilies / emoticons in their posts.
People who ask me "So, which part of Australia you from?".
Actually once I lied said Sydney.
I totally forgot that this annoys me, until it just happened, and I was immediately annoyed.
So.... we have those ceiling to floor blinds that go from up to down in the living room, and the sofa is in front of the window. I so hate it when the sofa has been pushed back too far so that the blinds don't hang straight. In my mind, it messes up the whole room and makes it look like it needs a big ole clean (which I hate to do roll ).
Just a little pet peeve of mine. Oh, btw, I also HATE those loud sniffs that come from the back of the throat that only men can do.
At the moment I get really irritated by the decline in standards of personal behaviour on Toronto's subway system. It's not untypical stuff - scowling chavish looking kids putting feet on seats, or believing, on a completely packed carriage, that their bag should have a seat too. People eating hot smelly food on packed subway cars, blocking doors or people pushing past you as you're trying to get off etc. etc.
Part of the problem is that in the last few years, the population of the city has grown a lot and now Toronto's struggling public transit system is always overcrowded, but it doesn't help that there has been a distinct decline in basic civility.
For awhile now I've started taking streetcar (tram) routes instead, where behaviour is slightly better, due I suspect to the presence of a driver within close proximity. But there's always people coughing or sneezing, without covering their germ-ridden orifices.
Somebody behind me sneezed on my neck the other day!! When I turned around to object the individual was completely affronted that I had the nerve to remonstrate with her. What's wrong with people?
It hasn't quite got to yobs swinging from straps and terrorising passengers, which I experienced quite a few times in Britain, but it's definitely going downhill, particularly among a growing chavish subculture here. I've never seen the need to drive in this city but I'm starting to consider it.
