How dumb is this?

"A new multimedia kiosk to allow people to report crime without visiting their local police station has been opened. The kiosk on the High Street in Watford will provide a 24-hour facility where people can contact the police via email, phone or online."

In what way is that better than a phone box? Apparently unlike a normal phone box this is open 24 hours a....oh wait.
I think I've seen something similar around the CU campus.

Perhaps a better idea is making some sort of mobile phone device that people can carry with them and they'd be really small, and if they got into trouble...........oh wait....
What about using a human in uniform (so they can be easlily recognised) you can report crimes to then and then they could maybe help you find your puppy/arrest your boyfriend/etc etc...oh wait..theres one in the photo (was this before he got laid off).

Or maybe the police could try getting off their ar#@*s and doing something about
crime instead of standing at the roadside with mobile cameras.....oh wait..
Maybe they should spend this money on employing more policemen. The force is incredibly short-staffed in most areas... oh wait, that would actually mean they wouldn't have money for gadgetry, wouldn't it.
If it's in Britain people will just widdle in it.
