Hi,
My name's Ben, I'm 30 and I'm originally from Worthing, just down the road from Brighton on the south coast. I moved over here about 2 years ago with my work on an H1B visa. I lived for 2 years in Royal Oak, Michigan (Detroit) but I then met a Floridian bird and luckily for me my work allowed me to move down here to Miami, as flying up and down the east coast gets expensive and a major hassle.. So now I work from home and travel up to Detroit every 3 months.
I've been in Miami for about 4 months now. Really enjoying it, especially as the winter is approaching and I don't have to face 5 months of extreme cold and driving in the snow. The odd hurricane is a small price to pay!!
Anyone else here in Miami?
I'm really looking for a football (soccer) team to join. I played up in Detroit and would like to continue down here too. Let me know if anyone knows of any.
