Does anyone know if you need a work permit to work in the US once you have your Spousal visa? I know you need one to work while you are waiting for it to process. I currently have an H-1B and I am applying for Adjustment of Status, so I can work while it is being process on my H-1B since I am still with the same company that applied for it. We may move once I have my spousal visa though.

Before you get the conditional green card you can apply for a work permit. I had to do that because I wanted to leave the facist company who gave me my H1B ( evil ).... Once you get stamped after the Green Card interview (or get the GC in the post) you can work where ever you like without a permit or visa.
