probably sushi and good chinese food - there's no resturants as such in lowestoft, certainly no sushi resturants and the chinese food is nasty and runny. Plenty of indian food tho. We had a great pizzeria up in Wausau that made the most outstanding pizza, everything around here has been really doughy like bad domino's pizza. Actually like any dominos pizza.
Don't miss english food on the whole, if i do i can make it at home.

Cheap booze.

Deli counter. Especially Montreal smoked meat.
And the selection of good ethnic restaurants we have in Ottawa.

I'm trying to rack my brains on this one as I'm going back permanently next month. I like things over here, but the only thing I can think I'd miss at the moment are payday candy bars and cheese quesidillas. I'm sure there must be more ???
Oh, just thought of another Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce.

If it comes in a plastic bottle, we'd ship some to ya!

Franks Hot Sauce. Yummy.
the variety of peppers, both fresh and canned/jarred. You can add them to just about anything.
Fresh tropical fruits that are cheap - I remember before coming here having to pay over one British pound for a mango! And a watermelon that was tiny cost nearly 10pounds!

Fresh fruit and veggies at a reasonable price. Organic meats, priced reasonably. Ice cream cakes.

Have to say that I wouldn't miss the food at all...........Okay perhaps the sushi - I much prefer English chocolate which, thank God you can get over here. Hersheys? HORRIBLE!!! it tastes like when my mum used to bring home the cheap stuff.
Mexican is better here I suppose - if you go to the right restaurant. Having s grin aid that, I DO llike the way they do a baked potatoe with your steak - with everything on the side butter chives etc............Yum

Mexican food, decent ribs, Jack In The Box, Mountain Dew, Payday bars, in fact any form of barbeque, funyuns, pecan pie, affordable steak, spam wasabi, onion rings, Ghiradelli chocolate... that's just for starters.
I like it here. The trick is not to eat at chain places is all.

Absolutely nothing! Even after 8 years I have a hard time stomaching the food here.
I worked and travelled all over the place when I worked for the Diplomatic Service and ate sheep's brains and bulls bollocks, goat pizza (all nasty but edible), why I cannot like the food here I have no idea!
I need to cook more, that's the problem. Just need to find the time to do it...
