Finally we had a cool front (I wont call it a cold front, cos it really wasn't) that started last Thursday and we actually got to turn off the a/c and open all the windows all weekend long, it was wonderful. It wont last long though, humidity is back today and temps are going up and its raining, now that is much needed wink

So how is it in your part of the country, still in t-shirts and shorts or are you bringing out the winter clothes already?
The temp. drops on a night here cel but during the day the a/c still takes a flogging
although summers nice it can be a little too much at times....

oops [icon is me sweating, not embarassement lol ]
Your same cold front came through our neck of the woods last week. It took us from a temp of 90-odd and dewpoints in the upper-60s, to temps in the 50s and a dry airmass. It's a nice taste of fall......

Wish we COULD have our windows open all the time. Unfortunately, I am so allergic to mosquito bites that if even ONE gets in the house - it'll ruin my life for a whole week. Nobody else I know has such a problem with mosquito bites - so I've come to the conclusion that it's me and my allergies - with my allergies now manifesting themselves into severe allergic skin reactions. Nice.

Wish I was in Colorado right now with their 7" of new snow.........

Whew, its getting a bit chilly here in OH. Its getting to the stage where its time to turn the heat on soon..... neutral
We're at the time of year where anything can happen. Today it's already 80F at 9.34am, this afternoon should be lovely, this evening, if we stick to any vague pattern, it will suddenly plummet about 6pm and get really nippy.
Mind at some point this week I must blow out the heating system, which means opening all the doors and windows and letting it rip. Then going round with a duster and a vacuum. Bah humbug shock shock
we had loads of rain out in these parts at the weekend and a fairly warm temp, but now its cooled right down to about sixty dgs or so, and about time too, not familiar with this kind of heat. Winter soon!

I'm not far away. servalan isn't kidding about the rain, we had over 10" in 20 hours in some spots with rivers and streams over flowing. I just got a forcast that there's more starting tonight and going on through tomorrow and tomorrow night. More flood warnings.

We have the ac on during the day but like after 7pm, it goes off and we open the doors and windows.

Makes a refreshing change after three months of massive bills.
Thankfully, our AC is now off. We have, however, had no water all weekend as our well pump decided to give up the ghost on Friday night and the plumber couldn't come until this morning!

Temps here have been in the 50's daytime and below 50 at night so starting to get a bit chilly!

Debs x smile
We've not had the AC on for about a month or more even.
We've had snow. A/C on at the weekend, heat on today.

Snow fun fer us!

It looks like a water storage tank would come in handy Debs.

Been raining a lot here too. Been in the low 60's in the day and 45-50 at night.
Back to normal today........a/c is on again and temps are rising!
