I love Aardman Animation productions like Morph, Rex The Runt, Creature Comforts and Chicken Run. I loved a Grand Day Out, (I think I first watched that on Channel 4?) The Wrong Trousers (techno trousers  ) and A Close Shave. Ive been waiting for ages to see a Wallace and Gromit full length film so I'm going to try to watch the film sometime this week. Anyone else going to watch it?
The film had a fairly decent opening this weekend and for all that good news there also was bad news for Nick Park, there was a fire at one of the Aardman warehouses and a lot of props and sets from Wallace and Gromit and other productions have been lost.

I saw it yesterday. My family liked it but I thought it dragged somewhat. I loved the other Wallace & Gromit films, but this one not so much.
Big Wallace and Gromit fans here. I have most of the Aardman stuff on DVD. I even special ordered Cracking Contraptions a couple of years ago. We went and saw it Saturday. I was worried about it being a feature length. Chicken Run didn't exactly thrill me. There was no cause for worry though, we loved it.
Yes, I'm a big fan will take my wife and introduce to W&G..
My daughter bought the three Wallace and Gromit features with the cracking contraptions and a few other extras on one DVD for $14.99 in Target the other day
Bargain.
Going to see the new one this weekend
Smashing!
Has anyone else played the Wallace and Gromit game for PS2?
Kind of a kid-friendly Tomb Raider. Plus it has all the right voices and stuff.

That's good value. Cracking Contraptions was only available for region 2 for a long time.
I thought it was great and my five year old was enthralled.
The audience in the cinema seemed to be very pleased with it and I was happy they got almost all of the jokes and double-entendres.
My son keeps nagging me to see it, I loved W&G the wrong trousers etc, they are great and being from the home of Wallace & Gromit so I should. Aardman are in Bristol, it was sad about the fire they had. I'm not sure if they still do this but they have 'The wrong trousers day' in bristol, everyone wears the wrong trousers for that day and donates money to the Bristol Childrens Hospital, it is a riot to walk through the streets of Bristol and it's neighbouring towns and see grown men and women in suits and huge mock nappies, or skirts or something else hysterical lol
Well I finally got to see it today. Smashing movie!
Saw it last weekend, had the whole cinema audience in stitches. Went with my stepdaughter, she was trying not to enjoy it because she wanted to see 40 Year Old Virgin, which I thought was a bit inappropriate for a 14 year old, but I am an adult what do I know.
I got out watched Wallace and Gromit with the missus last night. I thought it was pretty good. I think Ralph Fiennes may have stole the show. I loved the bunnies wink
Off to see it in a couple of hours!
So what's with the marrow=melon thing? Is is a marow or a melon in the version shown in the UK?
I thought it looked like a marrow... lol
