Went to Reno a few years ago and recognised a few of the buildings in the backgrounds - the one with a rainbow is this annoying casino with a Leprechaun theme.

There's not too much of it out here. You either have to head south towards San Diego or north, or really north up to Canada/Washington State.
One of my personal gaols is to shoot the Paris Dakar at some point..
