Who's going to be the first Premiership manager to get the sack?
I suppose the smart money's on David Moyes?
howabout David O'Leary as an outsider? wink
David Moyes for me. Living on borrowed time unless he turns things around quick.

The Portsmouth manager Alan Perrin too is one to watch. My vote is Moyes.
Were Plymouth the first team to boot their manager this season?

At least I can understand the new manager (Tony Pulis) - Williamson's accent like watching "Windtalkers".
Plymouth were probably one of the first, I don't know it for sure !!
Sturrock has a great accent too, he must have been great to listen to after Plymouth games? wink

Well there is that but I'll make exceptions for living legends.

not too sure on british soccer at the mo' but mick mccarthy looks odds on.....

i may be wrong ?
Disagree about McCarthy or any of the newly promoted managers.

A few more dodgy results and its Souness out Shearer in....
If I'm a manager I'd get rid of all the old legends before they start thinking about hanging-up their boots and going into managment...

Vialli/Gullit and Stuart Pierce/Keegan are a couple of examples..
Stuart Pearce appears to be doing the business at Man City though.
The prospect of facing an unhappy 'Psycho' post match has to be a significant factor in City's recent form. Perhaps he got them all listening to his Punk Rock records instead of that R&B rubbish most of those nancy boy footballers are usually into evil -
I think Maureen is safe at Chelsea though! I reckon Moyes will go and McCarthy will last. Even if they get relegated.

Pompey were excellent on Saturday. Good fluent passing, some nice moves , but a total inability to finish infront of goal (partly due to an on form Shay Given)
Popmey have had more chances at goal than any other team in the Premiership (including Chelsea: source Sky Sports) but have only converted 5% of them.
There lies the problem. I think Tactically Monseiur Perrin is OK and given the chance could do good things.
Souness however has spent $hit loads of money alienated a lot of players done bugger all and therefore deserves to go
