I saw Harry Enfield on the telly with a bad american accent telling us all to eat burgers sittign down.
Not sure how he managed to swing that job. I wish I knew there were auditions on I think my American accent is much better. I'd have wirtten a funnier ad too! wink

Oh, that pimping for BK commercial? I guess he's realised he's never going to break the American market as a comedian, so he might as well put on a funny voice, do a commercial and make some dosh. Still not as annoying as that ****ing gnome though.
There are alot of bloody British celebrities who save come over lately aren't there? Enfield hasn't been funny for years. Why couldn't the guys from The Fast Show come over instead?

They will never cut it on Jeorpardy or one of those shows about how well you know your partner

Have to agree there bungle, harry enfield was nothing after he split with paul whitehouse, he did a series on sky 1 a few years ago which was pants..

Didn't realy catch on with the american market though, probably becasue they didn't have a laugh track and bang a gong to tell you when to laugh. :roll:
