for the uninitiated, ignore the button at the top, go to the board index page, scroll to nearly the bottom and you'll find a chatroom there.
I went in to say hallo and you scarpered! Hmmmm!

Since joining the forum a couple of weeks ago I've actually used the "chat" button a few times out of curiosity, but there's never anyone there.... sad
In another phpBB forum, they found that they needed to make a date on a thread and then go to the chat room.
I don't go there myself, my typing is so slow, people waiting for a reply think I've gone home.
This is how you do it. You start a thread when you fancy a chat then go in the room and wait. We had a lovely chinwag last night once we all found each other! )
