You get that over here too. Ok may be the people saying it were born in the country they are in, but their parents/grandparents, must have come from somewhere. The stupid people that bash immigrants, aren't clever enough to see this of course.
There are even some here, that don't understand the process of emigrating to Canada, they think immigrants just come in, and get a PR ( permanent resident ) card. The application fees can run into thousands, and sometimes, people get rejected, even when you are from the UK.
