Heard on the radio saturday morning about something that the press has not really paid attention to about FEMA in the New Orleans area or maybe the whole state.
The guy is called Ed Wallace he normally talks about cars on his show, but he also talks about various points in history, the real facts as well as things that have been reported in the news, but not taken up by main stream press. In fact I think he's one of the best guys on the radio. He knows his stuff and is not one of these shock jocks you seem to get over here.
Anyways he informed that the Government went on a privatization spree and included FEMA in that sell off. It seems that the FEMA contract was won by some company which proudly showed on it web site that it now run all FEMA operation and planning for New Orleans and the State. Soon after they had Katrina hit and it all went pear shaped, they removed that claim from the web site. Ummmm interesting
