First they say it isn't, then they say it is, and then vice versa. A new study has come out to say it's good for you

The only part of coffee that raises the cholesterol is the cream/milk/whatever that you add to it.
May i suggest a wee drop of the good stuff instead of anything white. This way you may be jittery but you'll have an alternative buzz that counteracts the caffeine buzz and you'll be lots of fun and your cholesterol level will remain dormant.

.... and you'll end up homeless and ragged, drinking coffee (???) out of a brown paper bag outside the local 7-11, wondering what went wrong.

lol
You know - it's a shame I don't like coffee more. I love red wine. I love blue cheese. I am a chocolate connoisseur. You'd think that, in a natural progression, a strong-bodied coffee love would follow. But it never has!

When I drink coffee - I hate the taste it leaves me with. Sorta like sour milk or something.......(hey - similar to those Hershey bars!).

The only kind of coffee I ever enjoyed was a really indulgent, really milky, really chocolatey Cappuccino. And usually that was just after a meal - not really at any other time of the day.

Ever tried it as it comes with a stick of cinnamon or a slice of lemon. Surprisingly good and I don't even like cinnamon.

Ilike coffee drink a lot of it strong and with cream and sugar "not decaf" if you are going to cut the caffiene out its like saying drink beer with no alcohol, smoke with out nicotine , whats the point ?

If I just want something to quench my thirst on a hot day i drink water .....

Every now and again some *research company * with a report on whats good for you and what isnt .. next year or sometime after YET another research company will come out with a report that says the opposite *depending on who pays them *

I remember the fiasco a few years back about * anto freeze in your car * messing up the environment , later after a lot of folks had either traded in there old car or paid a exorbitant emount of money to get the one they had fixed .....the govt declared the anti freeze was not dangerous at all .

Some chemical company made a few million out of that and proberly lined a few politicans pockets for getting the bill passed .

I eat/drink what i like .

Could be old wives tales ..remember the bit when you was a kid about ( doing that will make you go blind ).

BAH ? smile roll
Talking of beer with no alcohol in it, as a non drinker, I tried a non alcoholic beer this month, when we were in Copenhagan Denmark, at the calsberg brewery, the wife had a real beer.

I must say it tasted really nice, but as a non alcoholic drinker, I couldnt tell the difference, but she said it was ok, as she tried both.
A pic of the bar area, with people larging it up at the brewery and the manufacturing area downstairs

In fact wht not just get rid of the coffee altogether

I'd take the Pepsi challenge with beer and non-alcoholic beer any day. Night and day.
