I've been watching this all morning on and off as they just repeat the same thing over and over showing the same piece of debris flying around and the same 2 holes in the superdome.
I hope everyone is doing ok and are safe.

I'm in north east LA right now in Monroe, its most odd. Every hotel room is taken by people fleeing from the south and unsure when to go home. There are lots of bodys just milling around, sitting on kerb sides and hotel lobbys. I feel bad being here for work and these guys dont know if they have a house to go home too, looking forward to heading back to Atlanta tomorrow.
I do have friends who waited out the storm in Slidell just across the inlet to New Orleans, the I10 bridge was blown out and I have not heard from them since sunday afternoon. The phones are out and the power is off so I'm just hoping they are suffering being stuck and nothing else. sad
