Hi everyone,
I've just joined the board so figured I should introduce myself properly. My name is Mark, I'm 27 and I emigrated in March from Harrow, NW London to Trenton in Illinois. I'm about 25 miles east of St. Louis but all I can see from my new house is corn and bean fields !!
I moved here to start my new life with my then Fiancee Debs at the end of a long and frustrating K-1 visa process which took approximately 8 months from application to interview. We were married at the end of April this year and will be celebrating 4 months of wedded bliss on August 29th !!
I am currently waiting for the United States Citizenship & Immigraton service to get off its lazy backside and issue me the work authorisation document which I applied for back in May, so that I can start looking for something other than the Internet and crap TV to fill my days.
I'm hoping to track down some other brits in or around St. Louis to broaden my social circle and share tales of home over a cheeky pint !!
