Pat Robertson wants to send special forces to Venezuela to "take out" Hugo Chavez.

The guys an idiot. Now isn't that a blatant threat to get him because there happens to be oil in Venezuala? :roll: Is that a Christian thing to want the death of someone?

Its the fact that he and Falwell presume to represent all American Christians that gets me.

This is so typical, they see something they want (oil), something they think it’s their right to have and the sad thing about it is eventually they will get it. I can see it now…. They get Condi to report a link between Chavez and the war on Terror…yadda yadda yadda.

In particular Maicau(sp) a border town between Colombia and Venezuela. The old joke in the 70's when drug smuggling was unsophisticated and rampant was if you didn't like someone you sent them to serve as policeman in Maicau. Average lifespan, one week. :shock:
