Him indoors came home with the DVD last night and we watched it and I loved it. Very stylised but brilliantly so. Anyone else seen it? I did a search but it just gives me evry post ever made in this section, even though I did all the refining bits.
Loved it, it's incredibly close to the source material and if you're a sad comic book geek like me, you can sit there with the books to hand and see just how close the adaptation was.
It's one I will definitely spend the money on to own.
Brought this yesterday and will watch it tomorrow.

Rented a copy yesterday and burnt it last night, will sit down with the mrs to watch it tonight as well
Rented a copy yesterday and burnt it last night,
Surely it can't be that bad?
This film is fab. I've seen it twice now and it was just as good the second time around.
ukm)
Hmmmm.....it's also one of the hardest ones to copy, but where there's a will, there is always a way
netflixed it and whatched it on friday.
Very good, stylisation and imagery were amazing.
Bruce Willis didn't seem to be portraying his part as old as he was supposed to be.
Some other niggly things didn't work for me ( Clive Owen in general), but definitely a complete break from the norm of Hollywood production line fare.
I dunno, I thought Clive Owen did pretty well with the accent thing.
Finally got to watch this last night. Really enjoyed it, so different. Need to go out and buy it now 'cos it's a definite "keep watching" movie.
thought it was a load of black and white toss myself.
Too much beer to see the odd flash of color then! wink
Watched it over the weekend, perfect Thanksgiving fare. Wife was a little put ofby the violence but I loved it. Willis was good and Rourke was especially good.
By the way Carla Gugino...top totty.
