C'est magnifique, on the left hand side of the screen in the advert. Difficult to manouvre, but it's French. Once you get to the newspaper, click anywhere and get the list, there are 10 categories. Some cracking movies. Sadly, netflix doesn't carry near half of them.
Juliette Binoche. Je t'aime
I'm suprised that the Romantic section dosen't include "The hairdressers husband" by Patrice Leconte. My favourite romantic movie.
I'm also suprised that "Jean de Florrette" and "Manon du source" are also left out.

I'm trying to find the title of a movie I watched a few years ago set in 17th? century France about a duke who seeks audience with the King to petition for money to drain the marshlands where he lives. He becomes embroiled in the contests of wit and words that served as entertainment in the French court
Any ideas?
Juliette Binoche'......what a fox she is

That's an ok film. Very Amelieesque in terms of photography and many of the same actors. However, my mini brain had a hard time following it totally.
She is great in "Happenstance" - which was on IFC or Sundance a couple of months back.
Audrey Tautou:

9/10
Very natural beauty. Very French looking. Very... Audrey Hepburn. No coincidence they share a first name I am sure.

Juliette Binoche:

8/10
A little more plain-faced than Audrey.
Julliette Binoche has made some great films here are some of my favourites .

Chocolat .

The unbearable lightness of being .

Ther english patient "academy award "

As you say not every film on that list is carried by netflix .

Here is a list of some they do that i liked very much .

Les liaisons dangeruses .

Wages of fear.

La grande bouffe .

Breathless .

The piano teacher .

La cage aux follies .

Romance .

Belle de jour.

Irreversable .

Happenstance .

Queen margot .

The bear .

Amelie.

The femme nikita .

Not in order and some of not on the list but very enjoyable just the same .
"Wages Of Fear"... isn't that the one with the guys driving trucks full of nitroglycerine?

/been years since I saw that
//also noticed the sad lack of "Metro" avec Christophe Lambert
