Started Wednesday. Mustn't grumble. The Daytime stuff is a bit iffy but the night-time stuff goes down very well with a few jars. Beats crappy American TV anyday.

Lets face it, if I piped my wife shaving her legs through your box, it would beat american TV

Listen to Miss Lynn Samuals
Sirus Radio
Monday thru Friday 1pm to 3pm~Great I used to listen to her when she was on WABC NY she got fired 'cause she is strongly anti-Right Wing Republican.
Cant wait for Howard Stern to join sirus ill get a set then .
Anyone listen to Howard Stern's final day on radio this morning. My husband's bummed out...he'd been listening to him for the last 20 years. I would listen to him regularly and found him hilarious. I think people either love him or hate him.
We're thinking of getting Sirus, but not sure how it works/cost etc.
The $12.99 is what most people squeal about but if you can get over that Sat Radio is great for the content, that is XM or Sirus although they have different sport content. That was the biggie in this house as the misses wanted the ACC stuff so we wound up with XM, no Radio 1 for me cry
Units are fairly cheep these days $50-300 and getting better, sirus has a new one with built in MP3 player and looks real sleak. The thing to remember thou its not CD quality and only runs under 50kbps, if you play a FM or a CD before Sat and switch over it sounds a little flat so I find I'm using it in the car almost all the time and rarly in the house.
As for Howard, never been impressed and talk radio in general over here annoys the crap out of me (much like talk shows on Tv). So as an XM sub at least I wont have to pay his big fat pay check wink

His fan base is tremedous for a radio personality , i know he is not for everyone but he has lasted over 20 years so he has to be doing something right .
I think im getting a sattalite radio for xmas it can be set up in your car or for home use there are verious models raging from $ 79.99 to over $200 .00 its 12 .99 a month service charge less if you pay yearly .

No, we haven't been able to listen to Howard since mid 2000 when the franchise that aired him wouldn't renew because he said something about the Columbine School shootings. I'm really not surprised he went to Sirius. Ya know, if you don't like it, don't listen to it. I'm offended by Judge Judy and the fact they have to air local traffic court on our local station and any other moralizing crap they put on US TV but it's still bloody there.
