So you're not a patriot if you're gay then? Even if you've served two terms in Iraq? So hating gays - and kicking them out of the Army - is more important than "freedom" then? Jeez.

Abit stupied and short sighted. Have often thought what type of answer they would get if they asked the people that serve, if they minded having gay people within their sections etc. Why not let them have the say???

They do say Post traumatic shock is an unlooked at and unconsidered ailment that is happening more now than ever before. Rummy doesn't think so.
My answer to Rummy is get your uniform on then and get out there yourself. never trust old men sending young men to do their dirty work.

As much as I abhor the whole concept of homosexuality, I do think it is one of the personal freedoms those guys are out there fighting for...

this was unfortunte that he as found out , this anti gay thing goes back from before bushed time and is embroiled in army tradition and is very hard to dislodge .
