The Coca-Cola Championship - or Division 1 if you are older than 20, or Division 2 if you are older than 30 - starts this weekend, and Setanta's new US channel has 2 or 3 live games a weekend! I can watch my QPR for the first time in ages! Highlights of the first weekend are Southampton v Wolves and Leeds v Millwall. They are also showing Carling Cup games, starting with Southend v Southampton.

Lots of other live games planned too, including CL.
PS If you sign up for DirecTV to get this channel (it's $12 extra per month) please provide my acct# 22695653 for a referral credit. I need to pay my bill somehow ;o)
Funnily enough, we've signed up for that here at the office too. Sat and watched Chelsea v Man U this morning over my coffee. Also the only place in Vegas showing it period. You can still get EPL at the Crown though.
Rubbish line-ups - not a Plymouth match in sight so my money is staying with Comcast for now. At least I can get to see them in Cup games on Fox or InDemand.
Why are they bothering to cover teams that just fell out of the Premiership? Everyone knows that nowadays they tend to freefall even further and the teams that can consolidate are the ones to watch for promotion.
Reading vs. Plymouth would have been a much better opening game but instead, I will have to make do with internet commentary. Hope my subscription is still valid or the credit card will need a very quick defrost!
QPR are hardly "straight out of the Premiership", nor their opponents Sheffield Wednesday. They've both been there recently but so has half the league.
Thanks for the heads up, but can Y'all use my Direct Tv number instead lol
Still no Town games to be had but I think it's worth the money this year as I may get to see one or two of their games if I'm lucky. Well I guess that depends if we do our usual and make a trip to the playoffs again roll
At least the Charity Shield is live on FSC this year.
I have nfl sunday ticket and to pay the extra 12$ to see a few of the leagues best and the rest second tier games is just to much for our budget .
I used to support QPR but I left off when they started getting serious. It was fun going until then but some of the fans started to lean on visiting fans. I often wondered how they managed when they moved up because they couldn't make Lofthouse Road any bigger. Did they play at White City for a while?
I'm probably a minority of one but I didn't enjoy it after Alec Stock got them to believe in themselves.
p.s. I've been gone a long time.
I only watched them in the latter half of the 80s although I have been a fan since the days of Stan Bowles. Their promotion to the top flight in around 85 was something special. We then flew into the UEFA Cup spots - what would today be a Champions League place - and had to play those home games at Highbury because of the plastic pitch. Can't wait to see a game there again, it would be my first in about 15 years and the first ever on grass.
Never heard of most of these teams, are they English?

Ready for another season of mid-table obscurity Moo or looking forward to a relegation battle?

Pushing for Champions League actually, I think you have to be in the Premiership to be eligible.
Halfway between Leyton and Hackney, at the end of Eastway, if I recall...

I like the NFL Sunday ticket, but arent you tempted to pay a little extra and dump the NFL ticket for a football package to watch Premiership games?

My favorite QPR game was the 1986 Milk Cup final.....
