If you didn't know already, Patrick Moore's The Sky At Night show is now available for free online. Every episode since 2001 is all they have so far - but that's pretty damn decent.

I met Patrick Moore when I was about 14 at an astronomy lecture in London. He was a brilliant orator - they tried to pin a microphone on him and he declined quite boisterously.
Then he looked at his notes for about five seconds, put them away and gave a fascinating talk about the moon.
I still have the book he autographed for me at the end. Just wish he hadn't done that role as the 'Gamesmaster' with Dominick Diamond in the 90's. mad

I used to try and sneakily watch it because it was on the BBC at about midnight.
