While travelling home on the subway last night I sat next to a women who pulled out a block of Philadelphia Cheese. She unpeeled the wrapping and then proceeded to munch her way through the whole block like it was an apple.
I'm a bit shaken by the whole episode and won't be having any cream cheese for a while - if ever again. Anyone out there know of any other 'dirty food' habits they seen.
I love Philly..... but I don't imagine I could ever eat it straight out of the wrapper. YUK!
I think the whole concept of peanut butter is disgusting.

Maybe she was pregnant and this is her craving??
I remember when we very first came to NYC 9 years ago for a long weekend and we were told how the subways were being cleared up and much better than they used to be. People would stand waiting for a train eating whole chickens! Then just before the train arrived, would throw what was left of the eaten chicken onto the tracks for all the rats that would be there waiting! shock
I cant stand hot dogs .peanut butter , or beef jerkies .
The thought of mayonese on a jam butty makes me puke .
People that suck on chocolate bars, bringing them in and out of their mouths. You can see the half sucked wet chocolate. This behaviour should end with starting primary school.

I couldn't agree more.....
....only I'd add popcorn to that category too.
I cant stand hot dogs .

So no hot dog eating competitions for you. World record is about 50 in 12 minutes.

JohnA - this link will make you sick
Well if they are going to class that discusting exibition as a competition, I would rather go for "who can piss higher up a wall type of event " much more fun .

Maybe with like 2 Ryvitas and it would have looked like one of those ice cream wafer sandwich thingies???

Ive seen a little of the Nathan's hot dogs eating competition. Its about as much as I can stand (I was going to say stomach  )
They have a similar chicken wing eating contest in Buffalo, there's a few from the hot dog eating contest who participate in it. I love chicken wings but I dont see nothing good in seeing someone bolt down food like that

I can tell you from living in the area, they were probably Russian.

Are you sure that this was not a Large Tootsie roll? Yeah, still gross, but you can't really eat tootsie rolls without breaking your teeth.
OMG that's truly gross. LMAO!! I wonder what her arteris look like......
I don't think I could get through something like that without puking halfway through. I'd do it if it was for a million bucks, though......I'd just be sweating curds for the next fortnight....... ???
Me? Well - if you sit me down in front of a big slice of pumpkin pie and that artificial "skooshy" cream on top - I'll puke, too. I will not go and purposefully eat Sushi. I don't really see the point of seafood - there's too much non-eatable stuff there. If anybody tells me Graham Crackers are just like Digestives - I'll have their guts for garters.
I'm getting the idea that food is something I feel very strongly about - considering most of the time I post here it's regarding foods!!!
