Chelski have just paid 21 million pound for Shawn Wright Philips. The boy is good, no doubt about it.

Thank you

Chelski are knobeds. D
they are for shelling out 21 million for that tosser.

the Owen deal taking him to Real looks like the steal of the century.
Y'all missed the big transfer news of the summer over at the Tractor Boys. Phew, Jim Magilton had us sweating for a bit over his new contract and he almost went to Bristol for free as a player coach shock lol

Now he has signed at the age of 36 what a coup, premiership here we come again roll
Former QPR player Peter Crouch on his way to Liverpool today for £7m. That I would consider better VFM than Wright-Phillips @ £21m.

 I said the exact same thing when I saw we had signed Rufus Brevett.

Still, the other players we signed so far (six in total) look pretty classy - looking forward to seeing their silky European skills in action.

Damn those tractor boys Mitch!! We need him badly at Palace!
Looking forward to seeing Plymouth play Palace this season. All that european talent up against the Premiership reject allstars

We are going downhill, the days of playing football at Ipswich are dead under Joe Royal. Hoof the ball up to the big man, oops we let him go on a free to Blackburn evil

One 400k purchase is all we could afford after selling Marcus Bent and Kelvin Davis for over 4mil and too boot they are not replacing the keeper. We have two kids 19 and under sparing for the open spot playing a half each in preseason games. Whats the world coming to when you have to build a side of has beens, never beens and free transfers. All this from a so called top championship side, what does that say for the league these days ???
Am I psychic or did anyone else expect Crouch to go to Liverpool?

1) Southampton were relegated
2) Crouch was breaking into the England team
3) Liverpool were struggling with forwards after losing Owen a year ago

I told my wife the day Southampton were relegated "I bet Crouch goes to Liverpool".
The top 3 clubs weren't going to sign him, so it had to be liverpool.
