Trying to buy a place next to my Dad. Will let my aging uncle and aunt live there so they are nearer to my Dad, and hopfully they'll do the garden for me.

Good luck - house prices here are a bit nuts so I dread to think what they are like back home.

lol buy yea pounds now. Nearly fell over last year when I changed a 1,000.00 dollars up here and got 485 pounds back lol

I know just what you mean. When we were buying our home here and needed to transfer our deposit from the UK to the US the exchange rate was less than 1.4!!! :evil: Left us a few thousand short and interest rates here were high.
