So, was Enoch right after all? The streets are surely running with blood a generation after his famous (infamous?) speech.
A very scary scenario but everything I have read so far today concerning the murderous terrorists just adds to my despair - military explosives, gullible young male fanatics, religious fervour all add up to a recipe for disaster.
Enoch was a rascist twat
Yeah he wanted to send them all "home". Even the millions of law abiding Quran-reading ones.

We can't expect a Muslim to read the Bible right (watching the Finsbury Park mosque cleric "quoting" it on a CBC report) if 90% of Christians don't.
Don't doubt he was - the problem is that it doesn't make his prediction wrong does it?
manc - simple condemantions like "he was a rascist" are as unhelpfull as equally simple statements which condemn the London bombers as "Muslims".
you asked if he was right.

I think he was a little too far to the right myself.

a few bombs go off and all hell breaks loose.
50 dead in London is not the end of the world.

More than that die in the UK due to eating peanuts.

A rascist or a man of vision.............I wonder

8) he wrote very good speeches, rascist yes.

But being the type of person I am I look at each side and try and argue both sides (blame my social education teacher lol), maybe he just figured two sets of individuals, so politicaly/religiously far apart would never meet in the middle and therefore come to blows.

Sounds about right for the poor buggers on the Iraq front line to me.

/Afghanistan too

enoch was right in his prediction sad but right .....

calling his a racist dont make him wrong .

is it the singer or the song ????
Am sure Enoch was one of those people that started sentences with the phrase " Am not a rascist but......" He might have had a vision, but so did Nostradamus, and he never said anything xenophobic did he?

There is a place for the Enochs of this world, and it sure isn't London. Most people that buy into his school of thought, are now living in different countries round the world themselves, what makes them think they've got a right to just pick up and go live there?

So you might have met someone on the internet, you might have moved with job, you might have won a visa lottery or what not, most folks that come to the UK, are just as much doing the same thing. Oh.....and brits of generations as far back as whenever, are just as bad in Scamming the system with benefits and whatnot, there are brits locked up in Thailand and elsewhere for drug smuggling and all that.

We are not whiter than white, are we now?
Last time I looked Britain was a multi-racial society. A key argument from the London Olympic team was the city's ability to absorb different races and cultures.

Enoch Powell was wrong not right. That why he finished his political career representing in-bred Unionists who couldn't even get along with the white folks who live around the corner and used their political power to suppress them.

People who admire Enoch and think he has something intelligent to offer are far and few between. He's more irrelevant now than ever.
