Rangers are playing Dynamo Zagreb at the Skydome tomorrow here in Toronto and I have the pleasure of attending.
As a die-hard Reds fan (of the Manchester variety), and not typically being of the inclination that 'if any British team is playing, then you may as well support them' (like Liverpool winning the European Cup - couldn't find it in myself to cheer them on, no matter how much I may have wanted to try....) I don't think I'm going to be cheering for either side in particular. In fact, I would say that I'm going to simply the football coz I miss it. Celtic played Roma here last year and apparently the whole evening was awesome, so I'm hoping for a similar experience. The Canadians I know who went to that match said they couldn't believe how much beer the Celtic fans put away! mrgreen
Interested to see what about others who have been to watch British teams play that are not their own think, as I know there are a lot of footy fans amongst you. Do you go just to watch the game, or do you find yourself rooting for the British team?
