I hope the following links will help you through the Immigration process. I believe you'll be eligible for Direct Consular Filing (DCF) via the US Embassy in London as long as your US citizen wife is resident in the UK at time of filing. If so, that would be a quicker route for you, as opposed to your wife preceeding you to the US and filing an I-130 from here. DCF would enable you to become an immediate Permanent Resident on entry to the US. Better double-check that info though, as things may have changed since I last had to deal with USCIS.

Good luck! grin
Thanks Ellie for posting the links up. We had come across these already.

Mostly we are stuck on either me getting a position in the US so I can support us when we move over. Obviously we dont want to go there with no jobs! Although we do have the backup plan of a spousal visa, getting Jennifer father to co-sponsor to make the 100K needed for a family of 3 and then living with them until I get a position there.

Getting jobs is our preferred method, and its a matter of finding someone who wants me. I'm hoping it wont be too difficult with over 10 years experience in leading edge software development, management and technical! But there are limited visa's of course.

Thanks again for the links, and we will use them if/when then need comes up )
