Hi All,
My wife (American) and I (English) got married last December in England where we have been living ever since. However my wife misses the US alot espically her family. We are expecting our first baby in Nov too. So we are going to move to the US. Somewhere on the East coast near NYC (Her family is just on the NJ side).
Currently we have 2 plans. Either I manage to get a position with a company that will sponsor me. I have around 10 years in software development and telecomms so I'm hoping that shouldnt be too hard. Otherwise we will have to go the spousal visa route with her step dad sponsoring her as we dont have 100K in cash that would be required for a family unit size of 3 (Poverty guidelines).
I hope to be able to pick up some hints and tips on how to do this, and meet some people so when we do move over we already have some friends.
