The FA have said they want a Great Britian team to enter the Olympics in 2012. Of course, by then people like Beckham, Gerrard and Owen will getting ready to go play in Dubai. But if the team could be formed now, who would you have in it?

Besides, I couldn't see a manager like Ferguson letting his players go for the Olympics. He is after all famous for having all his players injured for 4 days when an international is on.
The trouble is, then Fifa may demand as we can do it for the olympics, then we do it for Euro's and World Cup. and we lose our 4 votes through each independent FA and just have one vote for the UK
I think we will be allowed to have a GB team at this games only. Don't forget the women too, and they would have a stronger team by adding the other UK nations.
I feel the same as bungle, there is only the England team, I can barely think of one player from S/W/NI right now that would replace an England starter at any position. They'd get a couple of players in the squad maybe, but as a whole I see 15 players from England in the squad plus the likes of Savage.
