A question/statement.
I cant see any way to get to the Britnet homepage from the board.
I have the forum as my favourite/bookmark....I dont go onto the homepage much, just to get to Amazon through the affilliate link and things like that.

Is there a link to the homepage an this new board?? I have looked all over and if it is there then I am blind :)

Mandy

I wrote this a while ago and I dont think it was addressed by anyone. Is there a link to the homepage from anywhere on the forum? I have the forum index page as mu bookmark and cant find how to get to the homepage without having to type the address in.

Mandy

So make another bookmark for the homepage...

roll
Yup, I can do that but I am sure it would be in the websites best interests to have a link for the homepage from the forum wouldnt it?
That way when answering an Amazon question this AM I would have been able to tell the poster to click on the link to the homepage, but I couldnt, so I had to go find the homepage and copy/paste the link for the poster.

A lot of people find this forum through Google, they sometimes dont find the homepage, in fact, I had been here for months before I even knew the WAS a Homepage.

Nigel is working on a link to the homepage (and I hope, a logo), meanwhile I have made a global announcement containing the link to tide us over. I used it all the time too -much easier than bookmarks.

Also, thanks for reminding me ----- the links for affiliate sites (ones that earn money for Britnet) have a forum of their own which I can now post in since I'm a mod, so I will add those that are missing when I have a mo.....

My profile is checked to not recieve e-mail on every post , but I DO, its clogging my box up!
I don't.  So that's one I can't help on.  8)

great....I could use a bookmark, but i dont. Plus when informing someone about affiliations I cant give em my bookmark can I?

I admit that I do forget that we have a homepage, but when shopping I do try to go through the affiliations, specially with Amazon which I use loads.

I THINK I got logged out and I can't fnd the Log me in automatically thing?? Rita
Well you were logged in when you posted that!

It's a check box under the password box when you log in. It's automatically checked, so you only have to do something if you don't want it to log you in automatically.

Welcome! :)
